Summary
Specifications of the Aston Martin DB12 Volante
A Grand Touring, Sharpened and Comfortable Chassis
The DB12 Volante is based on a rigid aluminum chassis optimized for the convertible. It benefits from recalibrated electric steering, intelligent adaptive suspension, and an electronic limited-slip differential, to provide the perfect balance between agility and comfort.
Technology and Hand Finishing, Signature Aston Martin
On board of this cabriolet, elegance is omnipresent: hand-sewn Bridge of Weir leather upholstery, 10.25-inch touchscreen center console, solid aluminum controls, tailor-made lighting ambiance... The experience is tactile, sensory and 100% handmade. The home infotainment system — a first for Aston Martin — offers a fast and smooth interface, wireless Apple CarPlay compatible, Bluetooth 5.0, connected navigation, and 360° camera. Every detail exudes British craftsmanship and modernity.
Luxury and elegantly Enlarged Front Grille
The DB12 Volante uses the iconic Aston Martin radiator grill, but in a wider and lower version, reinforcing its assertive character and muscular stature, without ever losing its nobility.
Ultra-Fast Multi-Layered Canvas Canopy
The top of the line fabric can be folded up in just 14 seconds up to 50 km/h. It guarantees excellent sound insulation while maintaining the fluid line of the coupe once closed.
Chrome Dual Exhaust Outlets and Integrated Diffuser
The rear combines elegance and sportiness, with a discreetly integrated active diffuser, and two exhaust outlets that diffuse the low sound of the V8, without any tricks but with a lot of class.
Handcrafted Interior with Modernized Physical Controls
Contrary to the 100% tactile trend, Aston Martin has chosen a refined balance between digital and mechanical. The interior combines hand-sewn Bridge of Weir leather, milled metal or carbon inserts, and genuine aluminum rotating buttons, offering intuitive ergonomics and a high-end feel.
New High Rigidity Glued Aluminum Platform
To ensure impeccable driving dynamics, even without a roof, the Volante is based on a reinforced glued aluminum structure compared to the DB11. This chassis improves torsional stiffness by 5%, offering a more precise directional response, increased stability and improved dynamic behavior.
