Every spring, Watches and Wonders brings the great watchmaking houses, their retailers, the press and collectors together at Palexpo. Hotels are fully booked, demand for transport climbs at peak times and appointments follow one another between the show and the city centre. A private chauffeur booked in advance is waiting for you at every exit, with the route ready.
From the airport to Palexpo and the hotels
Palexpo is right next to Geneva airport; the lakeside hotels and the city centre are a few kilometres away. Your chauffeur meets you when your flight lands, drives you to your hotel and then to the show. The price of a transfer is calculated online, based on the route and the vehicle.

Chauffeur for Watches and Wonders: your questions
Where is Watches and Wonders held in Geneva?
The show is held at Palexpo, in Le Grand-Saconnex, next to Geneva airport. Events also take place in town during the week. The dates of each edition are published by the organiser.
How long does it take between Palexpo and central Geneva?
Palexpo is a few kilometres from the lakeside hotels: allow ten to fifteen minutes without traffic, more at peak times during the show.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, we strongly recommend it. Demand is high during the show and the most sought-after vehicles are booked early. A last-minute request is still possible, subject to availability.
Can I keep the same chauffeur all week?
Mention it in your request: we assign you the same chauffeur for the length of your stay whenever the schedule allows.
Transfer or hourly hire: which should I choose?
For a single journey, for example from the airport to your hotel, a transfer is enough. If your appointments follow one another between the show and the city, hourly hire is more flexible: the chauffeur waits for you at every stage. Some vehicles are available from one hour, the others from three hours.
Do you drive to the watch manufactures?
Yes. We provide transfers to the Vallée de Joux, Neuchâtel, La Chaux-de-Fonds, Biel or Schaffhausen, one way or with waiting time on site.
Is Astral Motorclub a partner of the show?
No. Astral Motorclub is an independent chauffeur company with no connection to the organiser of Watches and Wonders Geneva. We transport visitors, exhibitors and guests during the week of the show.
